The three-part nature of God is one of the great mysteries of the Christian faith. While the New Testament does not specifically mention the Holy Trinity, evidence of God’s three-fold nature can be found in numerous parts of the Bible, including the Gospel of Matthew where Jesus, having been resurrected after his crucifixion, instructs his loyal apostles: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Although we may struggle to fully comprehend the concept of the Holy Trinity, it remains one of the most powerful aspects of God’s divine nature.
