Product description
In the dusty streets and smoky saloons of the Wild West, lawlessness ruled. It took men with nerves of steel to rein in the unruly and enforce the law. The most famed and feared of these lawmen was Wyatt Earp. From Dodge City to the aptly-named town of Tombstone, Earp’s well-earned reputation as a nononsense lawman with a lightning quick draw was enough to end most conflicts peacefully.

However, in 1881, Wyatt, his brothers Virgil and Morgan, and Doc Holliday faced – and beat – the Clanton Gang in the most famous gunfight in the history of the Wild West: the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. The legendary gunfight took place in Tombstone, Arizona, on October 26, 1881. Wyatt, his brothers Virgil and Morgan, and Doc Holliday faced off with Ike and Billy Clanton and Tom and Frank McLaury. The shootout earned Wyatt the reputation of being one of the Wild West’s toughest and deadliest gunmen. He would become the most feared lawman in the West.

Nothing captures this American spirit of the Wild West like the Wyatt Earp bowie knife! Designed exclusively for American Mint by renowned knifemaker Falkner™, this impressive bowie knife is a full 10.75" in length. The 6" satin-finish blade – forged with the classic finger notch and saw teeth – is crafted in 420 stainless steel and features an expertly etched image of Wyatt Earp. The comfortable finger notched handle features a beautiful hardwood grip and is accented with solid brass hardware.
